about us
Strathfield Retina Clinic is a leading ophthalmology practice for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases affecting the retina, vitreous and macula. We currently have 9 retina specialists and surgeons who are highly trained in the management of retinal disease. Located in Sydney’s inner west, we are a tertiary referral centre where many patients with complex retinal conditions are referred for expert opinion and treatment. We work closely with general ophthalmologists, optometrists and general practitioners to provide comprehensive management of retinal disorders.
A retina specialist is an ophthalmologist who has undergone a further 1-2 years training in disorders of the retina and vitreous. All our doctors are members of ANZsRS (Australian and New Zealand Society of Retina Specialists) and RANZCO (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists)
We understand that eye emergencies can occur and that urgent review may be required. Same-day emergency bookings are available.
