Strathfield Retina Clinic, established in 2008, is a leading ophthalmology practice located in Sydney’s inner west with retina specialists and surgeons highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders in the retina, vitreous, and macula in addition to general ophthalmology.

We are also an eye emergency referral centre, providing assessment and care for patients with urgent eye conditions. For emergencies requiring care outside our operating hours, or for 24/7 urgent care, please attend Sydney Eye Hospital or contact them on 02 9382 7111.

Strathfield Retina Clinic has an ongoing commitment to clinical research and is an award-winning leading Clinical Trials Research site offering patients novel treatments for sight-threatening disorders.

SIENNA

A phase 3 study to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of subcutaneously administered Pozelimab in combination with Cemdisiran or Cemdisiran alone in participants with Geographic Atrophy.

CIRCLE

A phase 2b study to assess efficacy and safety of FWY003 in patients with geographic atrophy. Inclusion: >50yrs, GA lesions 2.5-17.5mm^2, VA >6/60, willing to receive vaccinations.

MALBEC

A phase 2/3 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of EYE201/MK-8748 compared to Eylea 2mg in participants with Neovascular Age-related macular degeneration.
